About Me!
Hi! My name is Mina Phipps. I’m a sociology major and art practice minor at Stanford University. Sociology is a field that examines the relationships between humans, society, and culture; and art is integral to the creation and perpetuation of culture. My favorite place for my work to reside is at the intersection of these two fields, letting them nourish and uplift each other. Working in mainly colored pencil, I use art to address social issues, and in turn, use a sociological lens to inspire composition.
